The Three Pillars of Exposure: Aperture, ISO, Shutter Speed
Picture in f/2.8
Picture in f/16
1. The part of the human body closely related to the aperture is the pupil.
2. The smaller the aperture opening, the higher the aperture number.
3. The smaller the aperture number(larger opening) the more the foreground and background are in focus, The larger the aperture number(smaller opening) the more you just focus on the foreground.
Slow shutter speed
Fast shutter speed
1. Slow, medium, or fast:
Reasonable Light:
a.)fast
b.)fast
c.)slow
d.)slow
e.)long
f.)fast
Dark:
a.)fast
b.)fast
c.)long
d.)long
e.)long
f.)long
2. Shutter Speed Settings-
Reasonable Light:
a.)fast
b.)fast
c.)slow
d.)slow
e.)long
f.)fast
Dark:
a.)fast
b.)fast
c.)long
d.)long
e.)long
f.)long
2. Shutter Speed Settings-
ISO 6400
ISO 200
1. A higher ISO makes it so the camera takes in more light, making it good when there is little light, such as at a football game at night.
2. Try to use low ISO more often in well lit areas.
3. High ISO should be used in dim lit or dark areas.
F4- 1/60 clear and bright
F5.6- 1/30 clear and bright
F8- 1/15 blurry and bright
F11-1/15 blurry and dim
F16-1/8 very blurry and dim
F22-1/8 very blurry and very dim
